Group Home Services
Three homes in the community serve individuals ages 18 years and up who have varying levels of developmental disabilities. 24-hour (awake) staff provide training, supervision and assistance in all areas to include personal care, everyday living skills and recreational and leisure activities.
Staff assist with all aspects of each person's needs since this is their home and staff are their primary caregivers. Community activities such as going to the movies or out to eat are an important part of the group living experience just as if living with family. Conversely, individual activities are accommodated whenever possible as well. Consumers attend the day support program Monday through Friday, or less often if age or infirmary requires less participation.
