Developmental Services

The Eastern Shore Community Services Board (ESCSB) Developmental Services offers an array of programs and services designed to assist individuals birth through geriatric age with living a safe, healthier, more independent and fulfilling life.

Services and programs offered include:

  • Dogwood View Supervised Apartments
  • Group Homes
• Day Support
• Infant Intervention Services - PIPS
• Case Management

Enrollment

Admission criteria varies by program and the nature of the services required. Referrals can be made by: the school systems physicians hospitals other service agencies families self referral

Regulatory requirements necessitate pre-authorization for some services. Due to limited funding availability, waiting lists exist for some programs; however, they are not allowed by law for Infant Intervention services.

Services are individualized and person or family-centered depending on the population. Emergencies are always assessed and handled accordingly.
