Case Management

Case Management Service are offered to individuals who seek treatment at the ESCSB. Case managers assist individuals with the acquisition of services in the community which can support them in accomplishing their goals.

Examples of the kinds of needs that case managers assist individuals with include:

• Housing
• Transportation
• Finances
• Accessing Medical Services
• Providing Additional Social or Emotional Support

Mental Health Support Services

Mental Health Support Services are another service which is a part of the continuum of care offered by the ESCSB. These services are largely provided in the individual's home or the community.

Mental health support services are offered when an individual requires assistance with activities of daily living such as:

• Budgeting
• Nutritional planning
• Healthy Relaxation Activities
• Medication Compliance

Psychiatric Services

The Psychiatric Services department is staffed by a full-time psychiatrist and medical director, an adult consulting psychiatrist, and a child consulting psychiatrist, as well as nursing staff and medical assistants. The psychiatrist will normally provide an initial psychiatric evaluation and follow-up medication management visits when medications are prescribed.

ESCSB nursing staff or medical assistants work closely with the psychiatrists by assessing vital signs, educating individuals on medications or side-effects, and assisting individuals with obtaining medications when cost is a barrier.
